Continue reading to learn about a few ways that you can help to make your child more excited for an upcoming visit from the tooth fairy and why losing their baby teeth isn\u2019t something they should stress about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Read a Tooth Fairy Bedtime Story<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To help get kids in the spirit and introduce them to the Tooth Fairy, you can consider reading your child one of the many books out there that include this iconic character. You can even make it a tradition where every time she\u2019s about to pay your home a visit, you and your child read one of these stories together. You don\u2019t even have to stick to tales about the traditional Tooth Fairy, either\u2014many cultures have their own version of the Tooth Fairy! &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Help Them Write a Letter to the Tooth Fairy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If your little one has previously written a letter to Santa Claus, they might become excited at the idea of getting to write a note to the Tooth Fairy, too. They can use this opportunity to let them know where to find the tooth, when to come by the house, and of course, what sort of prize they\u2019d like. Don\u2019t forget to make the letters Tooth-Fairy-sized!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Leave Behind a Tooth Fairy Receipt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also create a receipt for the Tooth Fairy to leave your child after they\u2019ve picked up their tooth and dropped off their reward. It can have your child\u2019s name, address, age, and how many teeth were under the pillow, as well as what their reward is. You can also leave a small souvenir with this receipt, or even \u201cproof\u201d that the Tooth Fairy visited, such as a small wand or crown, or even a touch of glitter on your child\u2019s prize. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Put Together a Smile Scrapbook<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It can be fun to record how your child\u2019s smile changes as baby teeth fall out and the permanent ones make their entrance. Consider creating a milestone keepsake album, or adding to your current scrapbook, to memorialize each of your child\u2019s visits from the Tooth Fairy. You can also talk with your child about the experience of losing a tooth and capture parts of those memories in the pages of the album. Leave it out in your child\u2019s bedroom for the Tooth Fairy to enjoy, too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Children don\u2019t always understand tooth loss at first, and they might even be concerned or frightened by it.
